Our 3 wonderful Spring Pro-Ams have concluded... we had a blast! The February Tucson event was so much fun! The Sewailo golf course was in fabulous condition (as usual!), and the scoring was very tightly packed. Our back to back Las Vegas Pro-Ams were very well attended, and all of our participants were treated like royalty at the JW Marriott Resort & Spa/Rampart Casino in Summerlin. 23 teams from across North America competed in the TPC Las Vegas event. The following week, we enjoyed our first Pro-Am at the Clubs at Red Rock. What a beautiful facility! We will visit all 3 of these facilities in the Fall. Hope you and your team can join us for what we like to call 1/3 a golf tournament, 1/3 a foodfest, and 1/3 a party!

Sewailo GC at Casino Del Sol Resort & Spa in Tucson, AZ will be hosting a local qualifier for the 2018 Men's U.S. Open on May 10. Sewailo is a wonderful tournament venue... a desert oasis consisting of 15 acres of ponds and lakes, as well as 2 miles of streams. Very scenic, and challenging but fair for golfers of all skill levels. Sewailo is also the year round home golf course (with their own private practice facility) of the University of Arizona Men's and Women's golf teams! We are very pleased to call this fine facility our tournament home for the Tommy Thomas Tucson Pro-Ams... We will return to Casino Del Sol Resort & Sewailo GC December 3-6. Hope you and your team can join us for a great week in Tucson. (The weather is lovely that time of year!)

We are pleased to announce 3 Tommy Thomas Pro-Am dates for the Fall of 2018! Please note... these are our usual fall dates, but the locations have changed a bit. We visit Las Vegas for back to back November Pro-Ams, staying at the JW Marriott for both events. (November 5-8 we play at the Red Rock Golf Clubs & November 12-15 we play at TPC Las Vegas). Then, we return to lovely Casino Del Sol in Tucson December 3-6. Mark your calendars now! All of these events are expected to have full fields, so don't delay in putting your teams together for these wonderful Pro-Ams! A $3,000 non-refundable deposit is required to guarantee your spot in the field, and full payment is due 75 days prior to the tournament. (That would be mid August for the November events, and full payment by mid September for the December Pro-Am). We hope you can join us for all of the fun!

With temperatures in the mid 80's for both events, and the Sewailo Golf Course in magnificent condition, we enjoyed 2 fabulous Pro-Ams at Casino Del Sol in Tucson. It was so nice... (how nice was it?) that we ate dinner poolside twice! Now that's nice! Ontario golf professional Billy Simkin aced the Par 3 #7 hole with the final shot of the day... and that was a closest to the pin hole as well! Chef Javier Castro and the Banquet staff provided over 200 of our Pro-Am participants some of the best food you'll find anywhere...including a new dessert item... homemade ice cream. Delish! Next Fall we visit Las Vegas for two November Pro-Ams (November 5-8 & November 12-15) and back to Casino Del Sol in Tucson December 3-6. Hope to see you there!

We have wrapped up the year 2016 in high style with a fabulous group of golfers from across North America who made Casino Del Sol Resort their "home away from home" during our December 5-8 Pro-Am. Sunny skies and warm hearts abounded as we enjoyed a very competitive golf tournament, wonderfull accommodations with an always smiling staff, and of course, Chef Javier Castro's scintillating and scrumptious cuisine! It was noted that we had teams from about as far apart as they could be in the continental United States join us as we welcomed 2 groups from Los Angeles (Pacific Ocean) and 1 group from the easternmost tip of Cape Cod (Atlantic Ocean)! Those little tidbits don't go unnoticed! Next event: February 20-23 at Casino Del Sol... hope to see you there!

A record 115 golfers joined us at the magnificent Casino Del Sol Resort & Sewailo GC for a Pro-Am/Party for the ages! We met many new friends, and renewed old acquaintances as well. The weather was wonderful, the food was fabulous, and the great golf was capped off by Norm Boling's hole-in-one on the third hole during Wednesday's second round. It just so happened to be our closest to the pin hole as well, so Norm took home a nifty TaylorMade golf bag to boot! (If you are wondering, we took care of the bar bill too!) A special thanks to the marvelous staff at Casino Del Sol for taking such good care of us...they always rise to the occasion!

We just wrapped up the first Fall Pro-Am of our 8th season...and it was wonderful! It was great to see so many familiar faces once again, and make new friends as well! The Sewailo GC was in perfect shape as usual, the weather was sunny and warm, and the food was out of this world! Thank you to all of the folks at Casino Del Sol in Tucson who take such good care of us!

Congratulations to Golf Professional Ben Sauls for qualifying for his first Senior Major! Ben lives in the Austin, Texas area, and qualified at the Woodlands, Texas with a round of 69. Ben has brought teams to multiple Tommy Thomas Pro-Ams, and we are certainly very proud of his performance, and know that this will be the first af many more opportunities for Ben to shine!

Our favorite chef, Casino Del Sol's Javier Castro joins "The Morning Blend" television show in Tucson to share his thoughts about being in the finals of the 2016 Iron Chef Tucson competition. He also throws down a little Chilean Sea Bass, which we enjoy as part of a delicious fish taco offering at one of our wonderful dinner parties at the Tommy Thomas Tucson Pro-Am!
